YouTube Is An Asset To Your Business

YouTube is an Asset to Your Business

Are you using YouTube for your business? YouTube has an incredibly large number of 2 billion monthly active users! However, in 2020 only around 9% of small businesses in the United States were using YouTube in their marketing plan. Why?

It starts with not using video in their marketing in the first place.

A few of the biggest reasons people avoid video in their marketing strategy is because:

  • They don’t know where to start with creating video
  • They are unclear of the ROI of video.
  • They don’t feel video for marketing is needed.

If you haven’t learned by now from us, we make creating video easy peasy! Our Content Sessions are set up to help you find your voice, show your face, and build something special!

Once you have the video-creating piece taken care of, it is time to get it on YouTube! With the potential to reach such a large audience on YouTube, it is a no-brainer that this platform can be an asset to your business. Here are three big reasons why: SEO, research, and connection.

SEO

YouTube can play a major factor in boosting up your SEO. On Google, there are tabs for images, news, shopping, AND video! Ranking on Google is very important in helping you find new businesses over your competitor. And like most digital platforms, Google favors video content by including more videos in their search results. If you place your videos on YouTube, you are in turn getting your videos on Google and helping your reach.

Research

Much like when people go to Google to do research, many people, especially the younger generations, are using YouTube as a search engine. Consumers are going to YouTube to learn about products and to find out about others’ experiences. Take me for example, I have been watching all kinds of pregnancy-related videos on YouTube to learn how to prepare for birth! If you put your videos on YouTube, that gives you the opportunity to be one of those videos people click on to find answers to their questions.

Connection

Last but not least, YouTube helps you build connections by letting you put your videos in a place that matters! Videos are a powerful tool to really connect with your audience. They get to see you in action and imagine themselves actually building a relationship with you. Everyone likes to feel connected, and the more they do, the more likely they are to want to use your product or service in the future.
