What Your Website Really Needs to Have in 2022

What Your Website Really Needs to Have

Let’s face it – it’s a digital world, and your website is your digital home base for your clients! The quality of your website can make or break a sale, so it’s important to have all of the necessary details about your business that a potential client could need. But, there is such a thing as “too much information” that could overwhelm a site visitor.

We are here to break down what you should have on your website, and what things you could probably leave out.

1. Keep it Simple on the Design

You want your website to be clean so that it’s easy to locate information quickly. Have you ever pulled up a website that hasn’t been updated since 2000 and instantly decided to go to another website? Or a website with too many buttons or callouts that leaves you feeling a little confused? That’s how your potential clients could be feeling about your current website now!

Keeping the design simple is key to pulling in new clients and getting more calls.

2. Easy, Actionable Call to Action

What do you want your potential clients to do? Do you want them to call you to schedule an appointment? Do you want them to book online? Make it easy for them, front and center.

3. YOU

That means pictures of you, in your element, working, engaging, demonstrating how great you really are. People want to put a face to a name when they call you or are considering your business. They want to visualize themselves as your client. Don’t use generic stock photos that every other business is using on their website. You are what makes your business unique, so don’t be shy! 4. Follow Basic SEO Rules

A good SEO is important for pulling more organic traffic to your website. But don’t overrate its importance – SEO is a reactive form of marketing, meaning that by the time most of your traffic comes to your website, it’s always better if they’ve interacted with you elsewhere first.

Keyword optimization and following the essential SEO rules are your best friends here. Find out what your clients are searching for on Google that relates to your business. Are they looking for classes? Add your classes to your keyword SEO, and be sure that you have a regular blog to hit important keywords.

5. Again, Keep it Simple

But this time I’m talking about your content. You don’t need your dissertation of research on your website. Keep it concise and give them vital information about your business and leave out the fluff. You want them to call YOU for more information, not spend all day reading information on your site!

These are the basics of a successful website, take it and run with it! Or, you can give us a call to see how we can help you make your website better.
